SCRIPTURES

Ephesians 6:10-18

The Armor of God
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

According to the scripture, we must obey the Lord 100% and become one with the Lord. Satan’s goal is to take us away from God’s domain, and he does so through a crack in our thoughts. Satan tempts people whose faith is weak and people who are not united with the Lord. In the fight against Satan and the evil eternal world, it is essential that we arm our faith with the necessary spiritual conditions.

What is the Helmet of Salvation?

The helmet of salvation is believing in the Lord 100%. This means that we should not think about things that are meaningless and just take up space in our brains. We need to entrust everything to God and the Lord.

Trusting in the Lord means to pray, praise, listen to and receive the Word, and maintain good physical health. If we trust in God and discern with HisWord, we can see the many ways in which God works.

What is the Sword of the Spirit?

The sword is likened to God’s Word. The Word is God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son, and it is the weapon with which we fight.  Besides the sword, another weapon used to win the spiritual battle is prayer. Prayer is conversation with God. In war, we need guns and bullets. The Word, or the gospel, is like our gun, and our prayers are the bullets. Just as soldiers are trained to love their guns as if they were their ‘lovers,’ in faith we must also gain victory together with our ‘lovers’—God and the Lord. We need to train and arm ourselves well to have an absolute faith of love through prayer.

Be Tenacious

[definition: “tending to keep a firm hold of something; clinging or adhering closely”]

In order to gain victory in faith and love, we have to be tenacious. In addition, we must be fiery like the sun and clear like the moon. God never fails in what He does for us, so we, too, should do things well the first time so as to not waste time repeating them In addition, we must do things while being united with the Lord.

Arming Ourselves in Faith

We need to arm ourselves in daily life so that God is always with us. There is nothing greater than being with God. Arming our faith means keeping God’s law through absolute faith and action. For example, we should not rebuke others, but instead do for them what they are unable to do And rather than argue with our brothers and sisters, we should repent for their ignorance before God. We also need to arm ourselves with the skill of testifying for how God has worked upon our lives.

However, the daily life of arming ourselves isn’t easy. Most people want to live comfortable lives, but we are the armies of people who fight against Satan and who fight for God’s Will. We may face hardships and suffering at times as we fight this spiritual battle, but it is nothing compared to the blessings we will receive once we gain victory. We must fight without making mistakes, and the only way to do this is to do things together with the Lord. For example, when we are confused, we should pray. If we are faithful, we will gain eternal things. Therefore, we must arm ourselves by being equipped with the Word, praise, and prayer.

By arming our minds we gain strength. Believe that we are on the side of God at all times and be faithful to the very end.

It is to arm ourselves in daily life and to have absolute faith and love towards the Holy Trinity and the Lord. Each person has their own responsibilities, but God will help us. So let’s be bold and be sure to arm ourselves properly.
