When you look at Jesus’ sermons, they were educational sermons that enabled people to understand. Through his sermons, people were able to take action. People fail because they are either ignorant or because they don’t take action despite having the knowledge. In other words, Jesus’ sermons were messages that inspired people to take action.
After hearing Jesus’ words, people testified that he did not teach like a priest or a scribe. They said his words were really amazing and powerful.
However, sometimes people become accustomed to a particular constitution and their brains harden with fixed perceptions. Even if powerful Word is given to such people, they will refuse to accept it even when something better is given to them. Instead, they choose and delight in things that fit their constitution and way of seeing things.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. ~ Matthew 6:21
Each person sees, evaluates, assigns value, delights in and chooses according to the level of knowledge they have. They do so according to the brain’s perceptions.
When choosing clothes, a car, various artwork, or people, human beings choose according to their level and according to the perceptions in their brain.
Even if you tell them something better, they will say they don’t like it.
It is because they evaluate and assign value according to their level. They do so according to the perceptions in their brains.
9 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. ~ 1 Corinthians 6:9-10
I hope that all of you will raise your level by perfectly forming the perceptions in your brain through God’s Word.
