When the law is mentioned, people think that it is “Strict. Cold. Scary. Restrictive. Binding. Abolishes freedom.”

Additionally, since laws of the world are unjust and unfair, people perceive the laws of God the same way they do about the laws of the world.

You have to have a correct perception of the laws. Then you will wear the laws around your neck, hold them in your hands, put them in your brain and thoughts, and live loving and keeping them.

By doing so, you will be protected, accidents will not happen, problems will not occur, and you will do well and prosper.

God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son proclaimed the Heavenly laws and proclaimed the core of the human laws of the world.

The Ten Commandments are also God’s law. In other words, they are what God hopes for and wants from human beings.

For the 1st commandment, He said, “Do not worship any other gods before Me.”

Expressed in a different way, it is God’s wish saying, “There is no other god but Me, Jehovah. Therefore, serve and love only Me.”

How great that law is since God, who created human beings, is asking human beings to love Him?

God first gave human beings a condition through the law and said that He would bless us if we kept that Word.

Spiritually speaking, it means that He will “give you blessings forever.”

Since that is the case, those laws are great, aren’t they? They are God’s wishes.

People often say “The law is scary. The law limits freedom.”

However, the law is not something that limits human freedom.

The law is something that keeps people from traveling the path of death and the path of judgment and instead, lets them travel the path of life, the path of blessing.

The laws regarding traffic signals too, is not a restriction of freedom but laws that protect people.

The law is a blessing and it is a safety net.

When you look at the Bible, there are thousands of types of laws of God.

Since you can’t memorize every single one of them, you just need to memorize two types:

The laws telling you to do something, and the laws telling you not to do something.

As for what you should do and what you should not do at each time,

– first, your conscience knows and discerns and,
– second, you know because the Word that the Lord gave comes to mind.

I hope that you will discern with your conscience and discern them by the Lord’s Word and keep them.

The law is God. It is God’s wish. It is authority. It is justice. The law is a blessing. It is a safety net. Love and keep the law. The law protects you.
