The Victory of Love

SCRIPTURES

Matthew 22:36-40

36“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” 37Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Through Jesus, God made a proclamation: “Do it with all your heart, will, and life,” and that is God’s ultimate law. He also said, “There’s another just like it: love your neighbor with all your heart, will, and life. These two commandments are the greatest commandments.”

Since Jesus knew that these were the greatest commandments, he put them into practice and achieved the victory of love. Without changing his heart, he treated the world with love until the very end, even petitioning God to forgive the Jews because they were ignorant and ultimately dying for all mankind.

The authority to love God

God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son Lord are bundles of love. So if you want to be on God’s side, you must also become a bundle of love. God looks for people who have achieved the victory of love, and He fulfills His Will through them.

To become a bundle of love, you must even love your enemies and also devote all of your heart, will, and life into serving, loving, caring for, and exalting God. You have to achieve the victory of love in order to receive the authority to love God. Then you can become God’s counterpart of love.

Adam and Eve were created to love God, but they were deceived by Satan and ended up loving only each other instead. They lost the power to love, the duty to love, and the authority to love God. It was as if God had told Adam and Eve, “Stop loving Me. I cannot accept fallen, rotten love.” Therefore, they lost the right to love God.

Since God loves you, if you also love Him, you will be happily united in love.

People like Moses, David, Noah, etc. gave perfect love to God. They loved only God. That’s why God considered them to be righteous, perfect, and worthy of His love.

Fulfillment of love

The Almighty God came through Jesus to carry out the ultimate fulfilment of love. Jesus fulfilled the greatest commandment and then left. That’s why he is the Messiah and is such a tremendous person.

Even if it is difficult, even if there’s tribulation and persecution and you’re outraged, and even if your brothers, your spouse, or your nation do wrong, you must still love them. In the end, God will repay them for the wrongs that they have done.

Since God’s ultimate purpose is love, He is creating a nation of love both in this world and in the eternal Heaven. So, the more a nation is controlled by God, the more it becomes a nation of love, and the more it becomes a nation of generosity and compassion.

Love is the authority in this world. So when love is absent or lacking, conflicts take place between individuals and nations. However, when you achieve the victory of love, all kinds of blessings come.

How to achieve the victory of love

Before achieving all other victories, you must first achieve the victory of love. To achieve the victory of love, you must love God with all your heart, will, and life. Someone who loves God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son Lord absolutely, without changing, is someone who has achieved the victory of love.

Second, you must love your neighbor as you love yourself.

You must possess sincere, absolute, and unchanging love, regardless of whether you like a particular individual or not. When you truly love, you don’t see the other person’s weaknesses or faults. You see only love because love covers over a multitude of sins. When God covers over a multitude of sins, it means that He has forgiven you and that He has looked the other way. Likewise, you should forgive and look past other people’s sins.

However, achieving the victory of love is difficult because demons viciously oppose and block the history of God. With Adam and Eve also, because their love for God was imperfect, they were led astray by Satan and ended up failing to share love with God. Therefore, you must certainly defeat Satan in order to achieve the victory of love.
