If You Do Better, Things Will Turn Out Better

The essence of Matthew 7:6 is to not recklessly give God’s Word of truth to those who will not value it for its worth: the ignorant people who live like filthy pigs. It also refers to when the Jewish people denied Jesus who was sacred, clean, and pure. 

The secret to living a better life

Everyone wants to live comfortably and to live a better life. If you do a better job, then things turn out better. For example, if you can see and observe things better, you enjoy them more. In everything you do, you must make that your philosophy. It’s not enough to simply coast along in life; you have to do better in order to climb up to the next level. If you do worse, then it will be as if you were going sideways, and life will just continue on in the same way. Therefore, you have to live a life of continually doing better. That kind of life is joyful and fulfills hopes and dreams. It is a life that is in a new world; it is a new life.

What does it mean to do better? It means to do better than how you did in the past. In terms of math, it is to add, not subtract. And if you keep doing better and better, then eventually you’ll multiply. To do twice as much as you’ve done before is tremendous, but you don’t achieve that by simply pushing forward with audacity. If you want to do a better job, you have to study a lot, research a lot, put in a lot of effort, and make up for whatever shortcomings you had in the past. Otherwise, even after 10 years, you will continue to live the same life. When people are satisfied with something, they usually don’t even think of doing it in any other way. In order for their brains to change, they need to see something better.

Do better while being united with God, the Holy Spirit, and the Lord

Something majestic has to be big. When there is harmony, it’s beautiful, and when God’s divine work is incorporated into it, it becomes wondrous and mysterious. In fact, the more intently you look at it, the more wondrous and mysterious it seems. In the course of doing better, if you want to do your absolute best, then do it while receiving God’s design. If you do that, then you’ll live the best life of all, and what shines like silver will sparkle like gold. 

God allows society and religion to advance, progress, and do even better. Matthew 7:11-12 means that God will give you better things than what you ask for. Therefore, always seek, ask God, and strive to do better. Then God will give you better things and will allow things to work out even better. In addition, for things to turn out better, you must treat people better, and in turn they themselves will do better as well.

If you do better, then God and the Holy Spirit will work upon you by making things come to mind, by making you remember things, by giving you inspiration, by letting you spot things that need to be done, and by making you work on them. Through that divine inspiration, you’ll continually do even better.

Do better towards God

Having the determination to do better includes doing better towards God. Love God more, respect God more, look up to God more, and long for God more. There are so many ways in which we could do better towards God. If you do that, then you’re overcoming your limitations.

In the Bible, Lot lived in the land of Sodom. He treated and served people better than anyone else, so he was chosen to serve the angels, and as a result, he escaped death. He escaped God’s judgment. Therefore, our lives depend on doing a better job. If you improve, problems get solved. But if you fail to do better, injustice and regret will be the result.

Unleash your potential

If you do a better job, even impossible things will become possible. So rather than trying to take shortcuts, do it absolutely by doing a better job. If you have the desire to always do better, then your brain will work to make that happen. And if you keep doing better things, then you can’t help but to gain the best rewards. 

Scientists say that people use only 1% of their brain cells. Thus, you have unlimited brain capacity, and there is an endless amount of wisdom to be stored there. You have this unlimited potential—you just have to keep taking action. Continually and gradually, God has carried out a history of doing better, so you should know about it, realize, and continue to do better, so that things in your life will turn out better.
