Proverbs 2:2-8

2 turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding—3 indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, 4 and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, 5 then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. 6 For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. 7 He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, 8 for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.

As you live your life, opportunities come and go in an instant.

There are many cases when something happens. At that moment, you hesitate and wonder, “Should I do it? Should I not? What should I do?”

Ultimately, your judgment and decision push you towards not doing it. Thus, you fail to get it done.

Once that moment passes, you neither have the desire nor the drive to do it.

You have to be aware. Some opportunities only come back after a year. While on the other hand, some come back only after three years, seven years, ten years, or twenty years.

Whenever you are trying to do something, something else always comes up and keeps you from doing that work. Life is determined by the judgment of an instant.

You have to judge well.

Opportunities arise in an instant. Judgments and decisions are made within that instance. After just a few minutes pass, your thoughts will lean towards the side of not doing it.

If a few days, a few weeks, or a few months pass, you will decide, “I can’t do it.” Then you will not do it.

That is why you must train the agility of your heart, thoughts, and body in your daily life.

You have to make it a habit of judging and deciding in an instant with the work you should do. Then your heart, thoughts, and body will adapt to judging in an instant and taking action.

You have to judge and take action at the speed of light!

I pray that you will judge well in an instant and decide with God’s thoughts and wisdom. And I pray that you will take action in a flash. By doing so, you will gain a hundred, a thousand, or ten thousand times the amount of time you have to use and succeed with time to spare.
