Matthew 7:14-27

But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.  “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

You cannot tell what people are like by simply looking at their exterior. You do not know what their interior is like until you check 100%.

You have to get to know them and look at their deeds.

Even if people are pretty or good looking, sometimes their inner selves do not match with their appearance. Fruits too – you cannot know if you look only at their outer appearance without looking at their interior. Some fruits are spoiled on the inside even though they seem fresh externally.

In this way, you can only find out what each person’s inner making is like when you get to know each person by conversing with them deeply.

You should not look at only the outside for anything, but check with the Word, ask God through prayer, and receive the answer. This is the ideal way. The more you polish your heart, character, and actions, the better it is for you and others.

Now, I pray that you will become beautiful both inside and outside by polishing yourself with godly wisdom, knowledge, character, hearts, thoughts, and actions.
