Are you failing your exams because of this one habit?
Have you failed an exam before? Not just the exams related to your studies, but exams that involve skill or even a test. For example, it could be a driving test or even a small mini game you played with your friend! Even if you have never failed an exam before, I’m pretty sure you have met people who have.
Why do they fail?
The answer is simple. It’s because, more often than not, they didn’t try. There was someone who always believed that they had no intelligence. So they thought it wasn’t worth it to study for anything. So, of course, he failed. But he would try studying when he was encouraged by his friends and family. He tried studying for one of his upcoming exams thinking he would die if he didn’t.
Did he pass?
Yes, he did. It’s as simple as that. If you act, you gain. If you don’t act–believing you just don’t have the intelligence to do so–you gain nothing. You will remain in the state you are now. So, it is simple. You fail automatically if you don’t even start. Just like when you are studying for something new, at first, you have no knowledge about that topic. If you begin, even if you just spend 5 or 10 minutes on it, you will still have that 5 or 10 minutes worth of knowledge.
Why do we gain only when we’ve acted?
It is because God has created the earth in that way. Regardless of whether you believe in God or not, it is God’s absolute law that people gain according to what they have done. God’s absolute law pertains to all of humankind. For example, science! When salt water is boiled, and all the water evaporates, what’s left? Salt! It’s so natural. You just get according to what you have done. If you don’t cook using a pumpkin you have on the table, that pumpkin will stay as it is. It is just like that. God has created us like that giving that law!
It would be great if we could just take a pill, or eat something that would make us intelligent and know everything without having to learn or experience anything. But I’m telling you the reality, the world doesn’t evolve like that. You gain according to what you have done. You gain when you act. That is an unchanging principle.
So, what do you think you should do now?
Go and study or do what you need to do. You can’t expect food to miraculously appear when you haven’t cooked or prepared. So, if you want to be successful in your daily life, you should go and do it. Whether you’re good at it or not, just give it a go.
